Cauliflower and hazelnut soup with turmeric and curry: oh yes. But next time, less stock. It got a bit thin, because the recipe randomly called for "enough good stock to cover by 5 cm." But you know, cauliflower and onion float! and of course who knows what size pot this particular chef was using. Either way, amazing flavor.
Dungeness crab with lots of melted butter and lemon. If ever you wanted a meal that goes on forever, this is it: an entire crab each, so very good, so very excessive.
Arugula salad with roasted beets, oranges, and walnuts. Viniagrette with walnut oil and a tiny bit of shallot.
