doubts about Mehitabel

someone came across this page looking for mehitabel hoopla, and I, being curious, had to go look and see who my google-neighbors were.
(I'll be making no more apologies for being self-indulgent.)
anyway, I found this archived page from Ftrain.com, a site I've enjoyed many times.
